In terms of employee compensation and benefits, we regularly participate in market salary surveys to ensure that our compensation remains competitive based on market salary levels, economic trends, and individual performance adjustments. Workplace Diversity, Inclusion and Human Rights

Fubon Life refer to the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights and the Core Labour Standards of the International Labour Organization (ILO) in revising our human rights policy, which has been approved by the Board of Directors and implemented through relevant measures. We have established a premise to safeguard human rights through protection, respect, and compensation, echoing and adhering to international instruments such as the United Nations Universal Declaration of Human Rights, Global Compact, International Labour Conventions, Principles for Responsible Investment, Equator Principles, and local laws. We approach all employees, partners (including customers), suppliers and their employees with fairness and mutual respect, striving to create a diverse, fair, and inclusive work environment.

On May 8, 2024, we signed a collective agreement with the Fubon Life Labor Union. The agreement comprises 24 articles and includes several labor conditions and employee benefits that exceed statutory requirements, demonstrating the Company's commitment to employee care and well-being.

Employee Compensation and Benefits

In terms of employee compensation and benefits, we regularly participate in market salary surveys to ensure that our compensation remains competitive based on market salary levels, economic trends, and individual performance adjustments. Fubon Life provides employees with benefits exceeding statutory requirements to alleviate the pressure on employees regarding childbirth and childcare as active fulfillment of our social responsibility. Our benefits include eight days of prenatal leave, paternity check-up leave and paternity leave, 10 weeks of paid maternity leave, and a subsidy of NT$100,000 for each newborn. The annual childcare subsidy of NT$15,000 per child under the age of 6 was raised to NT$24,000. Same-sex couples who have registered their marriage in accordance with the Act for Implementation of J.Y. Interpretation No. 748 are eligible for these benefits as well. In 2024, the Company disbursed over NT$100 million in childbirth and childcare subsidies, benefiting more than 2,697 Fubon babies. Occupational Health and Safety

The Company's Occupational Health and Safety Management Department is dedicated to the implementation and promotion of various occupational health and safety initiatives, as well as the formulation of safety and health work rules and occupational safety and health management regulations in accordance with the Occupational Safety and Health Act. Through advocacy efforts conducted via the Occupational Safety and Health Committee, the Company is committed to safeguarding employee physical and mental well-being. The Occupational Safety and Health Committee is led by a chairperson designated by the President and consists of departmental senior executives, occupational safety and health officers, healthcare professionals engaged in employee health services, and labor representatives. The committee meetings, which are held quarterly to discuss occupational safety and health risks. Targets and goals are included in the annual performance evaluations of relevant.

In advancing the healthy, safe, and inclusive workplace, the Company's Dun Bei Life Building passed a third-party audit for the ISO 45001 Occupational Health and Safety Management System certification renewal for the third consecutive year in 2024. By adopting this management system and conducting hazard identification and risk assessments across all workplaces, the Company proactively prevents and eliminates potential occupational hazards, enhances overall employee awareness of occupational health and safety and fosters a healthy and safe working environment for all employees.
